The Auslese grade stands for naturally sweet wines obtained from over-ripe berries. The minimum sugar content required in the must is 21KMW. Our Auslese wines are made only in special years and in very small quantities. We sort the grapes by hand and vinify the exquisitely concentrated berries using an old, small plunger press.
Auslese grade wines are best enjoyed with sweet dishes from Austrian cuisine. These wines will last for years.
