Welschriesling
Welschriesling is a must have to go with the typical “Brettljause”: A wooden plate of cold cuts and more.
Welschriesling is the most widely grown grape in Styria. It is also found in other regions in Austria, as well as abroad in Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary or Northern Italy, in each case under different regional names.
Welschriesling from Südsteiermark is a fresh-and-fruity wine with animating acidity. It is low in alcohol and stands for lots of savoir-vivre. Deeply rooted within the region, this variety is essentially a must have for any Styrian winery.
