Spicy aromas and the typical nutmeg scent make Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains easy to identify in a tasting. It has been rooted in our region ever since the olden days and is considered a special variety with its own aromatics. Due to the moderate alcohol content, our Gelber Muskateller is enjoyed in both bars and bistros, or as an aperitif before a meal. It has become increasingly popular over the last few years.

When Gelber Muskateller is planted in the right location and carefully cultivated, it develops an outstanding potential for ageing. This is why fans of the Muscat Blanc grape will find ours to have fresh-and-fruity notes, both in the SüdsteiermarkDAC line and as a fruity-aromatic single-vineyard wine with excellent aging properties.
